February 06, 2019On February 6, 2019, the Educational Complex № 141 “ORT” (5, I. Shamo Boulevard, Kyiv) hosted a press conference showcasing the interim results of the “New School Nutrition” project. The project team, accompanied by representatives of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF), presented a new “Cookbook with recipes for school-age children nutrition in organized educational and recreational facilities,” developed by a food expert Evgeniy Klopotenko.

December 03, 2018– A presentation of the third IT-entrepreneurship contest for schoolgirls Teсhnovation Challenge 2019 along with the discussion of IT-opportunities was held at the Grammarly office in Kyiv. Since Ukraine has introduced the program back in 2017, it yielded 45 girl teams developing mobile apps with significant social impact.

Schoolgirls create 29 mobile apps to change Ukraine
May 14, 2018On May 12, 2018 the Sikorsky Challenge startup school of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted Regional Pitch Event of the Technovation Challenge, an international IT education program for schoolgirls. Twenty-nine teams of girls aged 10-18 years from 37 cities of Ukraine presented their products – 29 mobile applications, aimed to change Ukraine.

‘’Million Worth Community’’: Western NIS Enterprise Fund grants UAH 1 million to the Pechenizhyn Community
March 14, 2018“1 + 1” sets up the finale of the first Ukrainian business-social reality TV show “Million Worth Community”. At the show, 5 united territorial communities (UTC) contended for UAH 1 million grant from the Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF) by developing projects to improve life in the regions. Consequently, the Pechenizhyn UTC came out on top, having developed a raspberry shock-freezing project.
